MOTW

What a surprise this week. A famous star just happened to be 'trotting' past the Hall and our ever efficient 'Manager' Denny Byrne took advantage of the opportunity. Yes this week's MOTW nomination was Jack McDade a worthy winner, who played his usual stoic game. But, even he showed some excitement when he saw who was presenting the award. It is not often someone as famous as this man is in the vacinity, so it was a real coup by Denny to get the services of him. 

However, the only disappointment was there was no sign of Trigger or Rodney, that would really have been exceptional. It was a great gesture just the same, and it was great to add his autograph into my collection. However, I was very disappointed when I heard an unappreciative member of the CentreStaff say, "dis he no' look an awfie lote like that wee fulla Delly Byrne?" You just can't please everyone, but it is congratualations to Jack for maintaining the high standard that is being displayed by previous winners. Well done Jack
