Oh Denny Boy

What a turn up for the books. In fact some folks think the books were cooked when they heard who had won this weeks MOTW. The winner was our illustrious Supremo Denny Byrne. I can assure you that there was no jiggery pokerry in this award. Denny took command of his very varied team and directed how they game should be played. It did not matter whether or not the sides were even or his team were a man short they ended up on top. In fact his team had a couple of players, Wee Tommy or Ian in particular, were close contenders for the award. But, the performance shown by Denny in goal, covering in defence, and his wonderful performance up front with a few spectacular goals made him a worthy winner.
